Frame and Mechanics

The sturdy base frame and the extensive
use of corrosion-resistant materials (aluminium profiles,
stainless steel, polymers) make the machine reliable,i
long lasting and visually pleasing.

High precision pads machining grant
excellent bevel quality even with the minimum 3 degrees
angle.

A pad grinding device (optional) can be
fitted on the machine giving longer pad life and thus
cutting down maintenance costs and idle times.

Manual controls allow machine use even
in case of temporary failure of an electronic component.

Unique infeed emergency cut-off sensor
protects operator hands from accidental entrance to system.

The machine offers near-silent operation,
thanks to the wheels directly fitted on the spindles.

Electronics and Software
- An industrial PC controls all machine operations.
- New software, developed and written by Bottero,
complete and user friendly.
- All information required for bevelling is always
available on-screen in real time.
- High-accuracy and easy-to-read ammeters help wheel
adjustment thus giving a better bevel quality.
- Electric cabinet is fully on-board the machine,
simplifying installation and maintenance.

Use and Maintenance
- Automatic computer controlled lubrication assures
components longer life and bevel quality. In the P version
(both 907 and 910), peripheral wheel change is quick and
easy, thanks to the 90 degrees rotation of the whole
spindle-wheel group.
- Warning messages appear on-screen in case of incorrect
data input by the operator, thus helping to avoid machine
or glass damage.
- Glass location while bevelling and total meters
processed by each wheel are continuously displayed on-screen,
allowing correct machine use and keeping wheel consumption
under control.
